Stop massive rate rises
Kingborough residents are now paying almost $200 more per year in rates and charges than they were at the last election. Rates alone have increased by 17 per cent in that time.
Cr Winter has voted against every single one. The three other candidates for Mayor have voted for every single one.
As a working father with a mortgage, Dean Winter understands why rates need to be as low as possible, to put more money in the pockets of families and pensioners.
With a background in economics, commerce and financial management in the public and private sectors, Dean Winter has the skills to get the budget back on track and stop the massive rate rises.
